Mike! Mike plays banjo and sings in The Seedy Seeds. He began his career as a recording artist and performer at the ripe old age of 1 year, with a stirring, a cappella rendition of New York, New York sung into the family Radio Shack tape recorder. At the age of 15 he received a banjo as a gift, but the instrument remained dormant—lying in wait like a wolf spider—for several years until The Seedy Seeds forced him to learn how to play the darn thing. Mike has played guitar and bass in several bands in the past, including The Scrubs, Inside Recess, The Story Changes, Junior Revolution, Rise from the Grave, The Broadside Beat, and The Danger Mice. The speed at which his beard grows is legendary.
